Dawn’s corporate career began with Barclays PLC in 1983, where she progressed to senior management and gained a broad range of experience and developed a proven track record at regional and national level in leadership, organisational development, performance and career transition coaching, recruitment, operational and strategic change management, project management, risk management, and corporate lending. In 2005 Dawn was head-hunted to join Sheffield Hallam University’s HR Department where she successfully delivered a number of high profile strategic interim management projects as a Senior Employee Development and HR Project Manager / Consultant. Dawn established her coaching business in 2008.
Having led and experienced a number of organisational restructures, delivered high profile strategic change programmes, applied leadership and people management theory and skills in challenging situations, Dawn has amassed a wealth of learning and ‘hands on’ experience and is able to speak with passion and conviction around the highs and lows associated with career transition and change management. Such insight has proven invaluable to her clients in developing themselves as leaders / managers, managing organisational change, under-performance within their teams and their personal career development planning / transitions.
Dawn’s practical leadership experience, business acumen and commercial awareness complement her technical coaching ability. This enables her to empathise with her clients, understand organisational drivers and challenges, and deliver real value that empowers individuals to achieve their life and career goals, and supports organisations to deliver results and transformational change.
